Q/BQB 613—2018 Q/BQB 613-2018 Supersedes BZJ 613-2013 English Version Abrasion resistant steel plates for engineering machine Q/BQB 613—2018 I Foreword This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in the GB/T 1.1—2009 (Directives for standardization-Part1: Structure and drafting of standards). This standard is drafted according to the market demand and considering the practical condition of Baosteel. This standard replaces BZJ 613-2013 in whole. In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical deviations have been made with respects to the BZJ 613-2013 (the previous edition). ——Add reference GB / T 20125 and the dated GB/T 2975 in normative references; ——Change ”BHARDY” to ”B-HARD” of the steel grade; ——Modify the requirements of the flatness; ——Strengthen the upper limit of the surface Brinell Hardness for B-HARD500; ——Clarify the sampling position of impact specimens; ——Adjust the grouping mass of mechanical property and process performance. Q/BQB 613—2018 1 Abrasion resistant steel plates for engineering machine 1 Scope This standard specifies dimensions, shape, technical requirements, testing and inspection, marking, and inspection certificate of abrasion resistant steel plates for engineering machine. This standard is applicable to the abrasion resistant steel plates for engineering machine manufactured by BAOSTEEL. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. Table 2 Nominal thickness mm The flatness tolerances for the length measured as 1000, not more than mm ≤15 12 >15 to 20 9 >20 6 6 Technical requirements 6.1 Steel grade and chemical composition 6.1.1 The steel grade and the chemical composition (heat analysis) shall comply with the requirement in Table 3. 6.1.2 The permissible deviations of chemical composition shall be in accordance with the requirement given in GB/T 222. When Cu and As are treated as residual elements, they should meet Cu ≤ 0.30% and As ≤ 0.08%. The analysis is not necessary if the results can be guaranteed by the manufacturer . 6.2 Delivery condition The steel plate is delivered in a quenched condition or a quenched and tempered condition. 6.3 Mechanical property and process performance 6.3.1 The impact property and the surface hardness of steel plate shall be in accordance with the reqiurement given in Table 4. 6.3.2 The value of Charpy absorption energy shall be taken from the average of three test pieces. It is acceptable that one out of three test values is lower than the specified value but not less than 70% of the specified value. 6.3.3 Charpy impact test is only applicable to the steel plate with thickness not less than 6 mm. When the impact test is made on the steel plate with thickness not less than 12 mm, the standard specimen of test shall be 10.0 mm×10.0 mm×55 mm , and the test results shall comply with the specified values in the table; When the impact test is carried out on steel plate with thickness not less than 6 mm but less than 12.0 mm, the auxiliary specimen shall be 7.5 mm×10.0 mm×55 mm or 5.0 mm×10.0 mm×55 mm , and the test results shall not be less than 75% or 50% of the specified values given in the table, respectively. 6.3.4 If the result of Charpy impact test does not meet the specified requirements, three other test pieces may be taken on the same sampled product for testing. At this time, the average value of these six test pieces should not be less than the specified value. No more than two out of six values are allowed to be less Q/BQB 613—2018 3 than the specified value, and only one value is allowed to be less than 70% of the specified value. The ultrasonic examination method shall be in accordance with GB/T 2970, and the qualification level shall be agreed in the contract. 6.4.2 According to the requirement of purchaser, upon agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser indicated in the order, carbon equivalent and tensile test or other requirements can be requested for the steel plate. 7 Inspection and testing 7.1 When selecting the specification of inspection and test, the type of inspection documents shall comply with the requirements from 7.2 to 7.4. 7.2 The number of test pieces, the sampling method and the test method required by the inspection items Q/BQB 613—2018 4 for each test unit of steel plate shall comply with the requirements of Table 5. GB/T 231.1 a At the time of arbitration, the test method shall comply with GB/T 223. b The sampling shall be as close as possible to the specified sampling position when the sampling at the position is not feasible. 7.3 Sampling frequency 7.3.1 Sampling frequency for chemical analysis Heat analysis shall be adopted for the chemical analysis to each heat individually. 7.3.2 Sampling frequency of impact test and hardness test Each test unit shall consist of the steel plates of the same heat number, same grade, same thickness, and same delivery condition with a weight of no more than 50 tons. 7.3.3 Upon agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser, the rule of setting test unit may be additionally determined. 7.4 Re-inspection of impact test If the results of the impact test do not meet the specified requirements, the single steel plate that has been tested but failed cannot be accepted, but the other steel plates with the same thickness as the sampled product shall be subjected to impact test and accepted individually. The steel plate with other thicknesses shall be set as a new test unit and submitted for the impact test and acceptance. 8 Annex The comparison table of steel grades between this standard and the previous version is given in Annex A (informative).
