4.3 METHOD OF SPECIFYING
The specification on the Engineering Drawing, CAD file, or related documents shall include the base steel, the coating (if applicable), and the surface classification.
e.g. Steel, Sheet, Cold Rolled, High Strength, Bake Hardenable, with a design minimum incoming yield strength of 210 MPa, coated with hot dip galvanized zinc, for a visible exterior body panel (210B2), would be defined thus:
